I am, or have been accepted as, a full time student at any accredited college, university or vocational school in the United States. Undergraduates must take a minimum of 12 credits a semester; graduate students must be enrolled for a minimum of 9 credits a semester.

I have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0

I have established permanent residency within the State of Maryland at least one full year before entering a post-secondary program

My family meets CSB income guidelines:

• Adjusted gross income of less than the median income for the State of Maryland in 2006, $91,000.
• Parental income for single, graduate students will be evaluated on an individual basis.

I have applied for Federal, State and school financial aid. You do not have to take an unsubsidized Federal Stafford Loan or a parent loan to be eligible to apply for a CSB interest-free loan.

I am a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
